A concept form Pope John Paul II, the “Healing of Memory” has been adopted as a goal and a process for dialogues between Christian communities with a history of persecution, violence, and trauma over the ages. Peacemaking churches, like the Mennonites, and historic Reformation churches, like the Lutherans, have been leaders in this healing and truth-telling, along with the Catholic Church. A powerful need in the churches and society, two scholars will explore such healing with us on Feb. 13 at VTS. See Events.
