    Student Song small

Over 80 Consortium students met for prayer, song and inspiration last night at CUA’s St. Vincent de Paul Chapel.   Jonathan Chesney of VTS and Br. Bonaventure Chapman, OP of the Dominican House of Studies planned a moving service that drew on Anglican and Catholic prayers and song.   Br. Bonaventure gave an inspiring message, reminding us of our unity “at the foot of the cross” and orienting students to a host of  opportunities.  Dr. Golemon called on students to embrace “dialogue, bridge-building, and boundary-crossing” the world and Church sorely need. The Dominican student Schola provided beautiful and uplifting music throughout.  Students joined 7 religious communities for dinner and conversation on “vocation” after the service.
