Special thanks to all who attended the Annual Friend’s Event at the Georgetown University Riggs Library on April 19. Fr. Leon Hopper, SJ gave us an overview of the mission of the Jesuits and the legacy of the Woodstock Library theologicla collection, which continues to serve the University and the wider community. Dr. Gerard Mannion gave us highlights of the University’s engagement with ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, including recent international events on Vatican II, and the ongoing Building Bridges Seminar between world religions. The evening included our first Silent Auction, with notable works of art, continuing education certificates, and more. We are grateful to everyone who helped plan the event, to all who came, and to those who participated in the Auction!
