Friends:

The address at the faculties’ convocation this past Monday by Dean John Erickson
was quite challenging. We hope to have a copy available for study! His challenge to embrace
a new age of ecumenism–recognizing the new state of divisions within our own traditions [which are affected strongly by the internet!] and the need to be faithful to the tradition and not to widely-propagated recent opinions–was stark and, to my mind, very realistic.

I will need to take a longer look at the text myself.
