    Howard University School of Divinity (HUSD) is one of the oldest fully accredited theological schools affiliated with the Association of Theological Schools in the United States. And, as one of the 12 schools and colleges within Howard, it is the only African-American theological school connected to a comprehensive category I research institution.

    HUSD educates and forms leaders to serve and transform religious and educational institutions and society. It is committed to enable all students—particularly those interested in ordained ministry and doctoral study—to acquire a comprehensive theological education. HUSD emphasizes inquiry into the religious and cultural heritage of African Americans, the African Diaspora and African. The school offers the M.Div., M.A. (Religious Studies), and D.Min. degrees, with plans for a Ph.D. The school specializes in afternoon and evening classes, with online learning in many semesters.

    Parking on campus is BY PERMIT before 5:00pm (or $10.00 per day), open thereafter.
