Alll WTC school faculty members are invited to a unique workshop on “engaged teaching” that orients classroom engagement and assignments to the life-situation and backgrounds of a diversity of students. This workshop is based on the research by Dr. Renee Harrision of Howard University School of Divinity and Dr. Jennie Knight of Guilford College of the kind of teaching that engages active student learning, especially toward personal and social transformation.
The program begins with breakfast at 8:30, includes lunch and ends at 3:30. Participants will receive a copy of the Harrison and Guilford book, and engage each other in teaching dynamics that can be adapted to a variety of theological traditions and disciplines.
Seating is limited, so please RSVP to: [email protected] or call
