In the face of DACA and travel bans, U.S. Christians engage Immigration not only as an ethical and human issue, but also as an issue of their own identity.   Historically, of course, most of us immigrated to this country, but also our theological identity is grounded in Paul’s words:   “You are no Longer Strangers and Foreigners” (Eph. 2:19) in Christ.  If we have been grafted into the covenant, should we be open to God’s work with other foreigners as well?

Dr. Peter Phan–one of the best known Catholic theologians and ethicists in America (and the globe), addresses this issue on Monday, Oct. 2 (6:00-9:00) with panelists from Howard, Wesley, and the CAIR legal organization.   New York Ave. Presbyterian Church, downtown D.C.  All are welcome, but you must RSVP.  Visit Events page for more information.
